What Do You Want To Be When You Grow Up?

Troy High School will host a career fair on Wednesday, March 27th that will hopefully help students answer the question: What do you want to be when you grow up?  While this is a question all 7th graders examined this year in Ms. Davis’ Preparing for High School Success class in first semester, most students will change their minds many times between now and graduation.
Local professionals will be available to answer questions from  students about their career, as well as give advice to students on the best course of study in order to be successful in the future.  Most professionals will be from the Troy area which will help students visualize their own future if they choose to stay in the area, but many will have worked or studied in other parts of the state or country as well.
While you may feel too shy to ask questions, remember that this is an activity designed to help you explore your future career options.  There are many careers out there and by talking to the people at the career fair, hopefully you can help narrow down what you would like to do in the future!
